This Privacy Policy explains how dAInasty ("we," "us," or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services at dainasty.app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

dAInasty is an independent, personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, ESPN, the National Football League (NFL), or any other fantasy platform or sports organization.

1. Who We Are

dAInasty is a fantasy football analysis tool that connects to third-party fantasy platforms (such as Sleeper) to provide AI-generated insights, rosters, draft tools, and related features. The Service is operated by an individual developer.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic Google account identifiers through Google's authentication service.
  • Settings you enter. We store the settings you configure in the app, such as your fantasy platform username, your league ID, and your league format preference (for example, dynasty or redraft).

Information collected automatically

  • Authentication data. We use a third-party authentication provider (Supabase) to manage sign-in. This includes identity records that confirm which sign-in methods (email or Google) are linked to your account.
  • Basic usage and technical data. Like most web apps, standard technical information (such as browser type and general interaction data) may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers to keep the Service running and secure.

Information from third-party fantasy platforms

When you connect a fantasy platform (such as Sleeper) by providing your username or league ID, we retrieve publicly available league and roster data from that platform's API in order to power the app's features. We do not ask for or store your password to those platforms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account and let you sign in.
  • Save your preferences so the app works the way you set it up.
  • Retrieve and display your fantasy league and roster data.
  • Generate AI-powered analysis, recommendations, and reports.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Communicate with you about the Service when necessary (for example, important account or service notices).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI-Generated Content

Some features of the Service use artificial intelligence (currently Anthropic's Claude models) to generate analysis, recommendations, and reports. To produce these, relevant fantasy data (such as roster and league information) may be sent to our AI provider for processing.

AI-generated output is informational only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should not be treated as professional advice or a guarantee of any outcome. You are responsible for your own fantasy decisions.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate the Service. These may include:

  • Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
  • Google — optional sign-in ("Sign in with Google").
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing for analysis features.
  • Fantasy and sports data sources — such as Sleeper, and other public fantasy or sports data APIs used to power the app's features.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — used to run the app and backend workflows.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We share only the information necessary for these services to function.

6. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your account and settings data are stored using our authentication and database provider (Supabase) with access controls (row-level security) that restrict each user's data to that user. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and settings data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your associated personal data from our systems within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or operational reasons.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Access or update your settings at any time within the app.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@dainasty.app.
  • Disconnect Google sign-in through your Google account settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email above.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
