Welcome to dAInasty. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the dAInasty website and services at dainasty.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

dAInasty is an independent, personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, ESPN, the National Football League (NFL), or any other fantasy platform or sports organization. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

1. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

To use most features, you'll create an account using email or Google sign-in. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account secure.
  • All activity that happens under your account.
  • Providing accurate information (such as your fantasy platform username and league ID).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

3. What the Service Does

dAInasty provides fantasy football tools, including AI-generated analysis, roster views, draft tools, trade suggestions, and related features. To do this, the Service connects to third-party fantasy platforms (such as Sleeper) and retrieves publicly available league and roster data based on the information you provide.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial, informational and entertainment purposes.

4. AI-Generated Content and No Guarantees

A core part of the Service uses artificial intelligence to generate analysis, recommendations, rankings, trade ideas, and reports.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated output is informational and for entertainment only.
  • It may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
  • It is not professional, financial, betting, or any other kind of advice.
  • We do not guarantee any result, outcome, ranking accuracy, or fantasy performance.
  • All decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

Do not rely on the Service as your sole basis for any decision.

5. Third-Party Data and Platforms

The Service depends on data and services from third parties, including fantasy platforms and public sports data sources. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy, availability, or timeliness of their data.
  • Changes they make to their platforms or APIs that affect the Service.
  • Any interruption caused by a third-party service.

Your use of any third-party platform is also subject to that platform's own terms and policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to break the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its data without permission.
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service to build a competing product.
  • Misrepresent your identity or use another person's account without permission.

We may restrict or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by dAInasty and protected by applicable laws. You may use the Service for your personal use, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from it without permission.

Fantasy data and third-party content displayed in the Service remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Paid Features (Future)

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, additional terms covering pricing, billing, renewals, and cancellations will apply and will be presented to you before you are charged. Nothing in these Terms obligates you to pay for anything unless you choose to purchase a paid plan.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We provide the Service on an "as available" basis. We may:

  • Add, change, or remove features at any time.
  • Suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) without notice.
  • Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.

We are not liable for any unavailability or changes to the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, dAInasty AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR FANTASY-RELATED OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR, IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING, A TOTAL OF USD $0.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless dAInasty and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will continue to apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Significant changes may be communicated through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
